USANA Announces a Three-Year Partnership With USA Luge
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
USANA Health Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: USNA), a worldwide leader in science-based nutritional supplements, announced today it has signed a three-year agreement to be the official supplement supplier of USA Luge.
As part of the agreement, USANA will provide USA Luge athletes with high quality nutritional products and supplements as well as offer direct support to individual athletes through USA Luge's Adopt-an-Athlete program.
"Finding a safe, tested and reliable source of nutritional supplements for our athletes is not an easy task," remarked USA Luge's marketing director Gordy Sheer. "We are glad to have a trusted, quality brand like USANA to help our teams train harder and recover faster."
USANA manufactures a wide variety of nutritional products that are trusted by some of the best athletes throughout the world. USANA voluntarily follows current Good Manufacturing Practices based on pharmaceutical models for its quality assurance program, meaning its nutritional supplements are treated with the same care that goes into manufacturing pharmaceutical products. Six USANA nutritional supplements recently received independent certification through NSF International's Certified for Sport(TM) program.
"USANA is honored to be the trusted name in nutrition for some of the world's premier athletes, including the team members of USA Luge," said USANA President Dave Wentz. "We are pleased to provide these world-class athletes with the highest quality nutritional supplements and look forward to their continued success."
